Our Core Beliefs.

God.

The creator of the universe. The King of all creation. He has eternally existed in

three: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one

God. This is the Trinity.

Genesis 1:1, 26, 27; 3:22, Job 38:4-7, Psalm 33:6, 90:2, 136:5; Isaiah42:5, 45:18; Matthew 28:19; John 1:1-3; Acts 14:15, 17:24; Colossians 1:16-17; Hebrews 1:10, 11:3; I Peter 1:2; II Corinthians 13:14; Revelation 4:11

Jesus.

Jesus Christ is the only Son of God. A member of the Trinity. Jesus left a perfect culture in Heaven, came to our broken world, was born of his creation, lived a sinless human life, He offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by dying on a cross. The cultural death for the worst criminals of this time. Following his death, he rose from the dead after three days to communicate his power over sin and death and to reveal the truth about who He is. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return again to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Holy Spirit.

He is the one who guides individuals to Jesus Christ. He convicts us of our sin. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth and guidance in doing what is right. The Christian seeks to live under His control daily. He is a co-equal member of the Trinity.

Man.

Man is made in the image of God. Man is created to be like God in character and He is the supreme object of God’s creation. Although man has tremendous potential for good, he is depraved by a sin nature separating him from God.

The Fall.

When God created the earth everything was good but in the garden Eve was tempted and she and Adam ate the fruit disobeying God. As a result of the “Original Sin” committed by Adam, all of mankind is totally depraved from God. The only person to walk the earth and be void of sin is Jesus Christ. As a result of man’s depravity all humans are sinners by nature and choice and as a result are destined for death. As a result of our depravity we are all broken and need a Savior. Jesus is that savior.

Eternity.

Eternity has always been part of the plan for man. We were created to exist in eternity with God. However, as a result of the fall our relationship with God has been broken. All people will exist for eternity. Those who have union with God will exist with him for eternity, heaven. Those who are separated from God will exist for eternity separated from God, hell.

Salvation.

Salvation is a precious unique gift from God. This is something that cannot be obtained from Man via works in our lives, through good thoughts, ideas or family upbringings. Salvation is made possible to us through the death and resurrection of Jesus. Salvation is one who has faith in Jesus Christ, one who knows and is known by Jesus.

unified by the Spirit in love, are corrected for holiness, and scatter to fulfill the great commandment and the great commission as missionaries to the world.
